Jaxon's Dorm (XXX For Posts In Spoilers)

It was early in the morning, no earlier then 5am but no later then 6am, when the newest female student for the Shinigami Academy arrived in front of the building that was to be her home throughout her time as a student. The female looked to be at least twenty in age. As the fingers of her left hand went up to drag through her hair gently, lifting her bangs out of the way, she looked up at the building before her then the general surroundings. She has heard much about this from the Shinigami that not only saved her soul but also adopted her as a daughter of his own. Since then, she has wanted to be a Shinigami just like him and make him proud of her achievements. “I’m sure you’ll do fine, angel.” A male said from behind her, the tone of his voice held love as well as pride for her. The female smiled widely and her pink eyes sparkled as she turned to face her adoptive father. He seemed to be in his early fifties as he stood there. He was garbed in the traditional outfit of that as a Shinigami except for the dark green sash that was around his waist. On the left side of his hip was his zanpakuto, sealed within a sheath that was the same dark green color as his sash so that it was camouflaged. “I know Dad, but I’m still nervous. I won’t be able to eat your famous double chocolate chip pancake anymore in the mornings. Or wish you a safe day.” She said, her smile slightly sad as she spoke. She was going to miss him dearly, as he meant the world to her. Her father gave her a warm, comforting smile as he walked to her and wrapped his left arm around her shoulders. He towered more then a foot above her. As he looked down at her, he spoke to her while lightly squeezing her left shoulder as if to pass on some of his strength he has in her to her. “Jaxon, do not worry so. I have lived long and haven’t been injured since I myself passed my exams to be a true Shinigami. What makes you think you’re old man can’t handle a few months or so without his ever worrisome daughter? Hm?” He was trying to make her laugh and put her in a lighter mood, which was successful when he saw a smile grin appear on her angelic face as a light and warm sounding giggle escape from her mouth. He then looked at the Shinigami Academy as he turned them to face it.

“Jaxx, dear. I promise to make you your double chocolate chip pancakes every morning and send them personally to your room before I go patrolling and you go to class. Also, you need to have more pride in yourself and what you are capable of. I have belief that you’ll be a wonderful member of the 4th Division as you have the personality to fit them. Perhaps soon you’ll become the Captain of that Division? My point is, believe in your own abilities. Besides, now you’ll be able to spend more time with younger men near your age.” He said as he let out a low chuckle as he saw her blush some at the mention of spending time with men around her age. The female took a deep breath as she willed her blush away before anyone else could see. She then smiled widely as she seemed to have come to a resolve now after being spoken to by her adopted father. “Thanks Dad, I needed to hear you say that. I’ll be the best Captain of the 4th Division they’ll ever see. I’ll come visit you when I could after I become a member of the 4th Division.” Jaxon said as she smiled wider up at him before she took a step forward, being released from his left arm. “I better go and sign into my dorm room before all of the ones with the wonderful view are gone. Bye Dad, have a safe day.” She said before she looked over her shoulder at him and gave him a V-For-Victory Sign before she walked inside of the Shinigami Academy. Still outside, her father just smiled as he shook his head and chuckled lowly to himself before turning around and started to walk off. Before he got too far, he suddenly felt someone hug him tightly from behind for a quick moment before he was let go. “Hehehe, you’re an angel Jaxx. The Gotei 13 needs someone like you in their ranks. Someone who could heal their wounds, make them a better and stronger person. Good luck, daughter.” He said under his breath as he moved again. He used shunpo in order to make his way to the area he was to patrol for the day.

Jaxon was now back inside of the Shinigami Academy. She took a slow glance around, seeing very little of the other Shinigami’s that went here as well. “Of course, it’s still so early in the morning. They’ll most likely be asleep right now or trying to get themselves up.” She spoke to herself as she stroked her hair some while walking towards the front desk area. As she walked up to a counter where a female Shinigami sat writing something down. Jaxon smiled as she got the other Shinigami’s attention. “Um, hello. I’m Jaxon Onne, I was accepted into the Shinigami Academy yesterday. I’m here to check in and find my dorm room. Can you help me please?” She spoke softly, a bit nervous to speak to a stranger. The other female Shinigami blinked for a moment before she puts her pen down and smiled at Jaxon. “Of course hun, here. Let me write your dorm room number down, get your key to your room, and get you a map of the place.” She said as she got up and reached this way and that for whatever she needed. She then looked into some files and wrote down the dorm’s room number. As she walked around the counter to stand in front of Jaxon, she handed her a folded up map, a slip of paper with the dorm’s room number written on it, and a single golden key. “My name’s Martha by the way, hun. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t be shy in asking me okay?” Martha then started to lead Jaxon down a long hallway that was to the left. All along the way to Jaxon’s room, Martha would point out the most important places for her to know about even so much as going into the history of the whole Shinigami Academy. As they slowed to a stop in front of a door with the numbers 724 painted in gold elegantly by the door. “Well, here’s your room hun. Take care and do your best.” Martha said with a smile as she walked off, going back to where she was to be stationed at by the front of the Shinigami Academy. “Thank you Martha. I’ll call if I need anything.” Jaxon called out after Martha as she smiled and watched her walk away before she turned to face the door that would lead to her new life as a real Shinigami. She was very excited now.

Right when she was about to unlock her door and enter her room, she heard a series of bells go off suddenly. She suspected it meant that classes were about to start. This was because as the bell rang, suddenly Shinigamis came out of their rooms and started to rush to wherever their classes are. Jaxon sweatdropped some as she moved to get out of their way, not wanting to be crushed on her first day. This reminded her of her past when she was alive and was a Human. To her, it was almost like High School all over again. She couldn’t help but smile and chuckle as she shook her head some. She pulled out her schedule and looked at it, instantly memorizing the order of the class she has to take. “Oh well, I’ll visit my room later. Time for class. Hm, I’m going to go to Hakuda first. Hoho is next, then Zanjutsu, and finally Kido.” She said to herself before she pushed off from the wall once there was a big enough opening for her to fit into the crowd. As she moved with the crowd, she would look around and try to read the signs to make her way to where her class would be taking place. Nearly twice, she has almost run into others or was nearly crushed into the wall by others. “Ugh, yep, it’s like High School more and more. The crushing of the crowd. The different types of clicks and groups. Hopefully the food here is edible and real.” She said under her breath before she was finally able to be free of the crowd and head to her class.

It was just after 2pm when Jaxon finally got into her dorm. As she opened her door and stepped in, she gasped at how it was decorated. It was decorated exactly like her room back at the place she lived with her adoptive father. She knew without a doubt that it was him who decorated her room while she was out in classes. “Oh Dad, you spoil me so much.” She said with a soft smile as she closed the door after her. Her room was much bigger then what she was used to, but she didn’t mind it at all. She was simply happy to see all of her belongings here. Every one of them having a story of how she got it and what it meant to her. A happy tear slid down her left cheek before she wiped it away. She took a good look around at her room and the way it was decorated yet again. She had a Montecito II Poster Bedroom Furniture Set. It features wood posts and by-cast leather headboard and foot board. The furniture pieces feature hand carved accents and burl inlays on the doors and drawer fronts. The set comes with a queen poster bed, dresser, mirror, and nightstand. Her bed was king sized and it had red and white on it, making it look as if it was a Fire & Ice Rose. Over all, her room gave a mixed feeling of romantic yet comforting. It was perfect for Jaxon. She took a deep breath before she went to sit down on the edge of her bed. She lays her back down on her soft bed and sighed as she felt her tired and overworked body relax. Before she could fall asleep right there and then, she made herself get up and off the bed. She moved away from her bed as she started to strip her clothes off. She made her way to the bathroom, where she took a long and hot shower. Thirty or so minutes later, she came out of the shower and went straight to her bed. She lies back down in her bed under the covers. “Goodnight Dad.” She whispers as she looks at the photo that was on her nightstand facing her. It was a picture of her and her adoptive father playing in a river. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. After a few moments, she was deep asleep.

Hours later, she woke up. As she stretched out her body, she let out a tired groan. “Oh man. That was a good nap. I never thought sleep or a bed could feel so good.” She said with a smile. She pulls the covers off of her and gets out of bed. She bent over to make her bed. It was a habit of sorts of hers. She then went to the shower. Getting clean before she goes to her Zanjutsu class. As she was cleaning her body then her hair, she was singing softly a ballad. When she noticed how she started to prune, she turned the water off and stepped out of the shower. She continued to sing as she dried herself off. She finished the ballad once she was brushing out her hair while drying it. She then went to her dresser and pulled out her fresh clothes. It looked the exact same as the clothes she wore yesterday but it was more red then pink. She puts her clothes on and finished getting herself ready for class. “Have a safe day, Dad.” She spoke to the photo as she attached her zanpakuto to her left hip. She blew the photo a kiss before she turned and left, making her way to where she needed to go. The Zanjutsu Training Grounds.

It was close to around 7 pm or so by the time Jaxon arrived back at her dorm with the fox kit in her arms. She yawned some as she used her key to unlock and open the door. She pushed open her door with one of her feet. She smiled as she looked down at the fox kit. “Welcome to your temporary home. I know it isn’t much. But it’s good enough. I don’t need items to make me happy. Neither do you.” She said. She leaned her face down to nuzzle against the back of the fox kit’s neck. The fox kit purred as it felt her touch. She couldn’t help but smile and chuckle softly. She stepped into her room and closed her door with the tip of one of her feet. “Here. Let me go fix you something to eat. After that, you can go get some rest.” She said. She moved to her bed and set the fox kit down onto one of her pillows. She smiled and chuckled as she watched the fox kit stretch some. “I know. My bed is so soft isn’t it?” She asked the fox kit. She pets the fox kit for a moment before she grabbed an extra pillow and covers. She made a nest of sorts on the floor by her nightstand. This was where the fox kit would sleep. “There. Now you have a bed too.” She said as she smiled. She picked up the fox kit and placed it in the nest she made for it. She was being very careful. As she stood up, she popped her fingers some as she smiled. “Time to fix you something to eat. I’m kinda hungry too. Let me go see what I have to fix us. You stay there and relax.” She told the fox kit before she turned to leave. She started to head to the kitchen part of her dorm. Her whole dorm was neat. It had a woman’s touch indeed. But it wasn’t overly girly. As she moved into the kitchen, she would look into the cupboards. “Hm. Don’t feel like having curry. Or soup. Or tacos. Oh! Look! I can make my famous orange chicken! What luck!” She said with a smile. She was very happy now. It’s been a long time since she has tasted orange chicken. She started to hum as she got the stuff to make the orange chicken.

She started to cut the chicken pieces into 2-inch squares. Then placed them in a large bowl. She then stirred in an egg, some salt, some pepper and a tablespoon of oil. Mixing it well. Next, she stirred cornstarch and flour together. Then she added the chicken pieces into the mixtures. She was stirring to coat. She turned her attention to her stove now. She heated up the oil for deep-frying in wok. Next, she added in the chicken pieces. She did this in small batches at time. They were fried 3 to 4 minutes or until golden and crisp. After that, she removed the chicken from the oil. For this, she used a slotted spoon. They were then drained on paper towels. She set them aside for the moment. She was going to work on the orange chicken sauce now. She cleaned the wok and re-heated it for 15 seconds over high heat. Next, she added in a tablespoon of oil. She added in ginger and garlic and stir-fried it until it was fragrant. She then added in and stir-fried crushed chilies and green onions. Finally, she added in the rice wine and stirred for 3 seconds. She brought it all to a boil. When it was ready, she added in the cooked chicken. Stirring until it was well mixed. She stirred some water into the remaining tablespoon of cornstarch until it was smooth. She added it to the chicken and the heat until sauce thickened. She stirred in a tablespoon of oil and sesame oil. For the last touch, she added in some grated zest of an orange to the sauce for flavor. She plated the food and placed a plate down near the fox kit. She then had a plate for herself and left it on the table for herself. She was going to take a bath before she ate and went to bed. But first, she wanted to fix one of her favorite desserts ever. Red velvet cake.

She went over to her oven. She preheated the oven to 350 degrees F. She then pulled out what she needed to bake and mix with. Lightly oiling and flouring 3 (9 by 1 1/2-inch round) cake pans. In a large bowl, she sifted together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. In another large bowl, she whisked together the oil, buttermilk, eggs, red food coloring, vinegar, and vanilla. Using a standing mixer, she mixed the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until it was just combined and a smooth batter is formed. She then divided the cake batter evenly among the prepared cake pans. A total of two of them. She placed the pans in the oven evenly spaced apart. She started to bake them. She would come back in half an hour or so to check on it. She then started to make the cream cheese frosting for it. She placed it to the side until it was to be used. For now, all she had to do was take a bath then she could eat and then go to bed.

All the while as she did this, she was singing softly to herself. It was something out of habit. She loved to sing and dance. She then moved to her bedroom. She noticed that the plate of food she left for the fox kit was empty. The fox kit itself was fast asleep. She smiled and chuckled softly. She went to her dresser and pulled out her bathrobe. She also pulled out clean clothes for tomorrow. She then went into the bathroom. There, she took a nice long and hot bath. She was fully relaxed now. She soon got out and was drying herself off. Her hair was a darker shade of pink, since it was still wet. She now wore her soft and fluffy robe. The robe ended a bit above her knees. It was pink and white, beautifully decorated. She hummed some as she was making her way to the kitchen. She even picked up the dirty plate that she fed the fox kit from. She placed the dirty dish away. She then move to sit down at the table, getting ready to eat.

Tatsuya had finally made his way back to the dorm rooms after having to walk all the way back from behind the academy. He held the room number that Jaxon had given him in his hand and walked down the hallway, looking at each door to see which matched the number. After about 5 minutes Tatsuya approached the door with the same room number as the paper. Tatsuya then raised his hand and knocked on the door.

Jaxon was just about to eat a piece of her orange chicken when she heard something. “Hm?” She said as she blinked some. She thought she heard knocking at her door. She looked to the clock some. “I wonder who it is. And what they need me for.” She said as she got up. She moved all of her wet hair to hang over her left shoulder. As she walked to the door, she was gently combing her hand through her hair. “Yes?” She asked as she opened the door. She blinked as she saw who it was then smiled. “Hello Tatsuya. I didn’t know you’ll visit me tonight. Are you hungry by any chance? How did your Hoho class go?” She asked him as she stepped back. She was allowing him to enter her dorm. She wasn’t paying attention to the fact that she was wearing a robe.

The door soon opened after Tatsuya knocked. As it did Tatsuya face warmed up as it surprisingly done a lot that day. Jaxon stood before him in a cute pink and white bath robe. Her hair beautifully hanging down over her shoulder. It had a darker shade of pink than he had seen earlier, but he attributed it to being wet. Tatsuya nervously placed his hand on the back of his head, maybe he had come at a bad time. But soon enough she began to talk to him, asking him if he was hungry and how his hoho class had went. She then took a step back to invite him inside, to which Tatsuya smiled and stepped forward inside of her dorm. As he walked in he walked in he could smell the aroma of one of his favorite dishes, orange chicken. Tatsuya then took a seat next to the table. "Yea, I haven't eaten at all today, im starved." Tatsuya began to laugh nervously and then continued to speak. "Hoho class is actually the reason that I'm here....uhm, not that I didn't want to see you, which I really did....I mean, uhm.......So.......how was your kido class?" Tatsuya began to lightly laugh while rubbing the back of his head. He was already fumbling over his words after being in her presence for only a little bit.

Jaxon smiled as he stepped into her dorm. She moved to close the door as she heard him make his way to the table. She soon moved into the kitchen as she saw him take a seat at the table. She smiled and chuckled as she heard him say that he was starved. “Food is good for you, Tatsuya. Keeps you nice and strong.” She said as she placed some orange chicken onto a plate. She then took the plate to the table. “I hope you like orange chicken. Or at least don’t mind eating it.” She said with a smile as she placed the plate in front of him with a fork. She blinked some as he sounded nervous in her presence for some reason. She then blushed a bit as she realized why. She was in a robe. She then chuckled softly. “Sorry for opening the door dressed as I am, I just got done with a bath.” She said as she shrugged one of her shoulders a bit. She then moved to sit down where her plate was. “Oh? It is? What does your Hoho class have to deal with me?” She asked him as she raised a brow in curiosity. She then took a bite of her orange chicken as he asked her how her class went. “Wonderful actually. My sensei is a member of the 4th Division. She taught me how to heal wounds generally like the 4th Division does, using Kido. I had to practice on a hurt fox kit. His leg was wounded from a trap. The poor dear. He’s sleeping right now in my room. I can show you him if you want. We’ll just have to be quiet is all.” She said. She was smiling as she ate another piece of orange chicken. “If you want, I also baked a red velvet cake. It’ll be done soon.” She said as she looked to the kitchen some, blushing a bit. “So? How does my cooking taste?” She asked him with a smile.

While Tatsuya sat down Jaxon asked him about his like of orange chicken. "I love it, it's my one of my favorite dishes." Jaxon then moved forward and placed a plate of the chicken in front of him, accompanied by a fork. After doing this Jaxon began to apologize for being dressed the way she was at the moment. Tatsuya frowned, the nervous way in which he was acting seemed to give her the impression that he was unsettled by it. He was simply in awe of the gorgeous woman that graced his sight. Tatsuya then smiled,"It's ok, you look beautiful...". Jaxon then moved forward and asked about what he had first meant when he talked of Hoho class. "Well, today when I went to class I was informed that they were putting me into an accelerated learning program of sorts. It seems that the next time I go to hoho class I'll be learning shunpo. Although Im not all too sure what that actually is...Well, anyway, it seems that I was recommended for this program from our Zanjutsu teacher, he recommended you as well." Tatsuya reached into the inside pocket of his hoari and handed her the letter which was an invitation to attend the class. "Looks like we'll be attending another class together." He began to smile and once again the he could feel his face warming up, as it had been doing an awful lot today.

Soon, Jaxon began to speak of her experiences in her kido class. She told him of her practicing her healing techniques on an injured fox kit and even offered to show it to him. Tatsuya nodded appreciatively. "Sure, I'd love to see him." As he said this she began to smile at him, which roused a smile out of him as well. Jaxon then turned her head and began to look in the direction of the kitchen while she blushed. After dinner she had offered him a desert of Red Velvet cake. A smile spread across Tatsuya's face. "Orange chicken and now a Red Velvet cake? If I didn't know any better I'd say you made all this just for me." Tatsuya began to laugh and picked up the fork, taking a bite of the orange chicken. “So? How does my cooking taste?” Tatsuya looked up at her and smiled, "It's wonderful. Since you've cooked for me I'll have to think of a way to repay you."

Jaxon smiled more as she heard that he loved orange chicken. She now knew a dish to fix him whenever they next see each other. She smiled more and blushed some at his compliment. “Thank you.” She said as she chuckled a bit. She listened to him as he spoke about what happened in his Hoho class. “That’s wonderful to hear Tatsuya!” She said with a smile as she looked at him. She then blinked some at what he told her. “Shunpo is a movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. That’s what all the Captains and other Shinigami use to move about.” She told him before she smiled. “Really? Even though I am a rebellion of sorts?” She joked with him as she laughed. She then blushed some. “Yay. Another class with you. It’ll be fun.” She said with a smile and a chuckle. She then looked at the letter that he gave to her. She read it some. This class was before her Kido class. She made a note of it before she puts the letter away. “Thank you for giving me the letter Tatsuya.” She told him as she smiled.

She smiled when Tatsuya agreed to go see the fox kit in her bedroom. She then blinked before she chuckled. “Really? Those are some of my favorite dishes as well.” She said. She then laughed with him before she watched him taste the orange chicken she gave to him. She smiled some more as he seemed to enjoy her cooking. “Awww. Thank you. It’s been a while since I cooked it.” She said. She then blushed some as she chuckled. “You don’t have to really, but I won’t stop you if you want to.” She told him.

Tatsuya nodded his head as he listened to her explanation as to what Shunpo was. "Ah I understand now. Welp, now it makes sense as to why she was seeing how fast I could move and react." Tatsuya laughed a bit at what she said following this. "Well, the lady said that our teacher still had a problem with squad 4, but he couldn't ignore your talent." Tatsuya then smiled as she thanked him for his delivery of the letter. "There's no problem. I planned to come by anyway."

She then told him that Orange Chicken and Red Velvet were some of her favorite dishes as well. "It's funny that we could be so different, yet our taste are so similar." Tatsuya began to laugh. Jaxon then thanked him for his compliment on her cooking and replied to his comment about repaying her. He blushed as he listened to what she said lastly. "So, if I were to repay you, what would you like me to do?" Tatsuya then looked at her and smiled at her flirtatiously.

She smiled and chuckled as she nodded her head. “Yeah. To them, we are moving in slow motion.” She said. She smiled and chuckled once more. “Well that’s good to hear. I would hate to have missed this.” She said. She then nodded as she blushed. “I’m glad you came by.” She told him. She laughed as she nodded to what he said. “Indeed. I guess opposites do attract in some ways.” She said as she smiled at him. She blushed as he asked her what she would like as payment. “Oh my. Um. I don’t know really.” She said as she blushed some more, especially when he smiled at her flirtatiously. “Oh! I know! You can surprise me.” She said with a smile and a chuckle. “What did you have in mind?” She asked him. True, she had started to have feelings for him. She feels that he felt the same way with her but she didn’t know for certain. She was going to play it safe for now. Or at least until he says or does something to show that he did have feelings for her.

Tatsuya smiled as he saw her saw her blush as a result of what he had asked. "A surprise huh? I guess I could do that." Jaxon then smiled back and began to chuckle, asking him what he had in mind. "Well, it can't rightly be a surprise if I tell you, can it? You'll just have to wait and see~." Tatsuya said this with a playful voice and used the same smile he had used earlier. As time had passed he began to realize the feelings that he held for her. He knew that sooner or later he'd have to reveal them to her, and he figured that this would be the perfect opportunity. He'd tell her how he felt, or rather, he'd show her. Tatsuya always believed in "Actions speaking louder than words". But right now he'd wait for the right time.

Jaxon smiled and laughed at his answer. “I suppose you are right. Can’t blame me for trying though.” She said with a laugh. She then finished eating her meal. She blushed some as he sent her a flirtatious smile once more. As she took the last bite of her orange chicken, she heard the oven go off. “The cake’s done. Just need to frost it and let it set before we eat it.” She said with a smile as she got up. She picked up her plate, but dropped the fork. “Oops. It tried to get away from me. Come back here you.” She said playfully as she chuckled. She had to bend over some. This caused Tatsuya to get a good eyeful of the swell of her breasts. She picked up the fork and made her way into the kitchen. She started to hum softly as she placed the plate and the fork in the sink. She then put on oven mitts and pulled out the cake. She closed the oven with her foot as she placed the cake on the table. She then went into the kitchen, getting the cream cheese icing. She then started to hum some more as she smiled. She was now getting ready to ice the cake. “Tatsuya? Want to come taste this icing before I slather it on the cake? You better hurry.” She called out to him. She smiled some as a mischievous look was in her eye. She chuckled as she goes back to humming and placed a dollop of the icing on her finger.

Tatsuya smiled at her, looking into her eyes until a loud "ding" was heard. It seemed that the oven had gone off and she needed to go and take the cake out. As Jaxon stood up took pick up her plate, she dropped her fork. She playfully joked about it and bent over to get it. As she did this her robe opened up a bit, giving Tatsuya a view of her breast. Tatsuya figured he should tell her, but then he decided not to, chalking the sight up to his good luck. After this Jaxon made her way to the kitchen, taking the cake out of the oven and placing it on the oven. She then took the icing out. “Tatsuya? Want to come taste this icing before I slather it on the cake? You better hurry.” Tatsuya began to smile, "Ok, im on my way." He made his way up from his seated position and into the kitchen, laying sight on Jaxon who had a dollop of the icing on her finger and held a mischievous look in her eye. Tatsuya started to grin, "Oh I see..." He then walked forward, lightly grabbing her hand. He then licked the icing off. After doing this he lightly kissed the hand that he held, making his way all the way up her arm until he now intimately kissed her neck. His arms were now around her waist. He looked deeply into her eyes before leaning forward and kissing her lips.

Jaxon smiled as she heard Tatsuya from the table. She had a light blush on her cheeks as she waited for him. She was never bold enough to do this. She hoped it worked. When she was done icing the cake, she still had some left. She chuckled as she squeezed some onto Tatsuya’s chest. She then put the icing away before she cut into the cake. She placed the piece of cake onto a single plate and offered the first bite to Tatsuya as she blushed.
